He won't be impeached this close to the election. Because if this go south that is a huge push for all the MAGA folks to show up and reelect him. They'll either pursue charges if he isn't reelected, or wait until he is for impeachment

I think there's a good case to be made for launching an impeachment right before the election too, so that daily revelations (or repeated headlines of stuff we already know) are front-and-center as people go to the polls.

It doesn’t matter to his supporters. There’s no sense considering then into the equation to begin with. They will show up and devote for him no matter what. Impeachment should definitely be in the table. Headlines front and center for those Americans who were in the fence and voted for him the first time. The potential independents that maybe voted for him because hell why not. For those that maybe don’t follow this shitbags crimes closely
