Second round of Colombian presidential elections today. Pretty hilarious that the trad-right candidate was easily overpowered by a joke candidate who at this point seems poised to become the next president. It shows just how far Uribism has fallen in the country. |

And a pretty crummy former mayor of Bogotá. I voted for him (I couldn't in good conscience vote for Rodolfo Hernandez, the aforementioned joke candidate) but I'm not thrilled about it and I'm fairly certain he won't win. |

Some people upset that Juneteenth is a holiday now. Claiming it’s made up (it’s not) or that it’s woke political correctness. The end of slavery in the US is just woke PC ? You’re really upset that some people get an extra day off in early summer? |

You’re really upset that some people get an extra day off in early summer? We exchanged Columbus for Juneteenth. Id prefer a fall holiday as it's 95 here today but otherwise haven't heard anyone complain |

The guy behind the cult that gassed the subway was executed on July 6th 2018, so maybe revenge for that? Weird delay if so. |
