Just...
It’s 2019.
If only all corporations had morals for the betterment of all...just imagine...but I really don’t understand at all how any business or corporation can have a stand against lgbt/equal rights *and*heavily fund redundant religious ideologies and still have a customer base and worse, are allowed do that.
They sell chicken burgers. They even spelled their own name wrong. Who the fuck eats here?

Tangentially, I was half listening to Jim Jeffries today and he said something about something chick fillet being really homophobic?
Can anyone give me context please? I’m guessing it’s a Nando’s or something. But how is it/are they homophobic?
You know, until you wrote it like that I had no idea that it was a replacement for fillet. I don't know how I missed that. Maybe the regional pronunciation because I'd always heard fuh-lay when the adults were talking so that's how I thought it was pronounced.
And yes, they did call actual fillets fill-ays so I have no idea.

Wait wait wait...they only decided to start the investigation after the birth? So for nine months (give or take) this lady's been sitting there and the doctors are completely flummoxed by the growing belly? Jesus Christ. Investigate the doctors while you're at it! "No no Dave, put those instruments away. We want to see where this is going."
They were unaware of the pregnancy until she gave birth. Apparently she started moaning, then delivered. I’m not sure, but I can imagine that a person in a >decade length coma might experience a pregnancy unnoticed. I’m sure the fetus was terribly undernourished.
Members of a Georgia family returning home Wednesday after traveling over the holidays said they were stunned to find that a man they did not recognize had changed the locks and claimed the house was his.
Janice Henson told WSB-TV the key to her family's Marietta home wouldn't work when she tried the lock. Matters took a bizarre turn when a man in a wheelchair came to the door and told her to leave. Henson said the stranger also claimed to have a gun.
