It’s very likely just some demented splinter group did this but you only need a few for the shit to hit the fan again

SO the AG has said that the reassurances May got from Europe are exactly the same and the legal definition hasn’t changed meaning they still see themselves trapped in the agreement and backstop.
May was to put this agreement to vote tonight. It looks like it’s dead before takeoff.

Meanwhile cold hard measssge from Europe. This is the last chance. The messaging here seems to imply an extension won’t be gratnted by Europe for further (endless pointless) negotiations within the UK to find a solution.
No deal hard brexit looking more likely than ever at this stage

Official No from the party that likes to say no. The clowns finish by saying the EU has been intransigent and says that all sides need to be reasonable. This is the same NI party that insists on its Britishness, yet opposes tooth and nail Marriage equality and abortions rights in NI despite both being legal in Britain.
The UK 70million people, is literally being held over a barrell by a group of ten flat earther evangelists who don’t even represent their constituents never mind the entirety of Northern Ireland.
It’s an utter shit show

Vote on the deal in Parliament in just under an hour.
Unless some major upset takes place it’s going to be demolished.

Snap election incoming. May will step down.

Who the fuck will step up to r place her nobody knows. Although Boris Johnson just got a haircut. (This will make sense if you know how completely disheveled h normally looks).

If it’s a snap election we’ve reached peak chaos. It can’t get any more fucked up.

Genuinely notable Political commentators are talking about his haircut.

Simply did to the possible impending power struggle.

Brexit is the most fucking bizarre thing that’s ever happened on this scale.

This is the head guy talking. Britain needs to be under no illusions at this stage.
Sort it out lads. He’s saying ‘no deal/crash out’ unless they pass the deal tonight in Parliament. Which it won’t.

Would love to update but it’s lretty much chaos.

Theresa May should resign for her own health. Spenno said months back she’s tenacious and he’s right but it’s tsking a serious toll on her physically now.

Tariff rates have been released. U.K. announce there will be no tariffs on products coming from Ireland to NI. But this will not be the case for goods flowing the other way! this will decimate NI manufacturing, big reduction on where they can sell their goods, but can be flooded by goods from Ireland. To ensure goods from Ireland don’t enter Britain via NI there will need to be checks on Irish Sea. The DUP have decimated NI economy and ended up with a kinda border in the Irish Sea. The thing they’d fought against as it somehow separates them from their precious Britain.
It is though this will bring them to heel. Nothing else has so far. The irony is It appears that the British have decided NI will be treated differently from the rest of the UK in a no deal Brexit.

Doesn’t look like the EU are going to give the UK an extension. Can’t say I blame them

Guy Verhofstadt gives some other good reasons not to grant an extension.

Quote:
I don’t want a long extension. I say that very openly. An extension, where we go beyond the European elections, and the European elections will be hijacked by the Brexiters, and by the whole Brexit issues. We will talk only about that, and not about the real problems, and the real reforms we need in the European Union.

The only thing we will do, we will give a new mandate to Mr Farage. That’s exactly he wants. Why he wants that? For two reasons. First of all, he can continue to have a salary that he can transfer to his offshore company. And the second thing is that he can continue to do his dirty work in the European Union, that is to try to destroy the European Union from within ...
