More likely than her announcing a general election but let’s see. She is lost at sea with this whole thing. It’s going absolutely nowhere.

They’ve lost power in the room the statement was to be made in so it’s delayed.
The irony. So much irony.

May's stoicism throughout this period is quietly inspirational.

The entirety of that speech was for her back benchers and the LCD base. She isn’t stoic. She hasn’t a clue what she’s doing. She just told the EU to come up with a solution cos they can’t. They haven’t a leg to stand on. She didn’t create this situation at all. But it hasn’t and she hasn’t moved it even one step in any direction since she’s taken over. It’s been two years. Two years!!

Inside sources say they’ve literally turned up with a one a4 sheet of proposals and that’s it. Might as well be written on a beermat. Also she’ll be gone within 6-8 weeks and Johnson is taking over. Out of pure ego and not one other MP wants to go near the head job in the middle of this.

Just so we’re all clear. Boris Johnson is literally the only possible way this situation could get worse for Britain. He came to Dublin on it a while back and he was clueless. But ignorant Eton arrogant posh boy clueless. He didn’t know where Northern Ireland was on the map. Physically. He had no understanding of any of the border issues or history or more importantly why that’s XX the main problem right now. his staff were mortified and apologising to their Irish counterparts over it. Not cos they hadnt tried to prepare and brief him. They had tried. He just doesn’t care and comes from that British elite that is just used to getting their own way and don’t they know who we are? Of course they’ll roll over and do what we tell them.

This whole thing is about to get worse.
If sense prevails there’ll be a second vote and it’ll definitely be remain. Either way they’re having a general election soon too in November and labour will probably take it and they’ll for sure call a second vote and brexit be fucked.

May Is calling this snap election so if that’s doesnt tell you she doesn’t have a clue and wants to pass the buck, nothing will.

Re: Brexit

Article 50 which is the function and conditions to allow a country to leave the EU, was drafted by a British Lord. They’re now screaming the terms in the article are cruel and unfair.

Lol

Clusterfuck. And the financial pain keeps hitting me as the pound tanks again.

4 or 5 ministers have resigned. Supposed 48 letters of no confidence sent by MPs.

Theresa May press conference in an hour.

That presser was a throw down to any opponents within the conservatives.

Re: Brexit

The hilarious and scary part is they have no idea what they’re doing and no idea that they have no idea so all they can do is keep biting the same bone insisting brexit must be on their terms.
You can’t leave the eu and demand all the benefits of being in the eu
they just don’t get this not even a little bit.

When Theresa May becomes the voice of reason you know you are completely fucked.
