Yeah kicking the can down the road is a good strategy for them.

It’s really not though.
It’s already seen them see their eternal two party grip on power disolve and the rise of UKIP and farrages new alt right party. Among others.

We’re just over the cliff of their version of democracy crumbling into a complete shit show.
You could hope that it has to all burn to be reborn but the rabid nationalist divide that’s emerged puts recent events in the US completely in the shadow.

The country that daily claims it defeated the Germans single handedly, is rapidly turning into a right wing anti immigrant nationalist state. You couldn’t make it up.

But here we are.

This is both funny and insightful into the DUP of it all. And how ultimately by Insisting on their Britishness , they’re the architects of the very thing they’re dead set against.
Irish unification

The independent group growing legs in the polls. Serious drop for two main parties indicative of publics ever growing frustration with the omnishambles

the choices are that on March 13th,
1: Mays Deal or
2: an extension if the HOC votes for it, or
3: if they don't vote for it, a hard Brexit.

The British governments ‘No deal impact assessment paper’ Is a grim fuckin read

https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... h_2019.pdf

‘10.5% lost GDP in North east of England with a No deal over the long term.’

‘This analysis does not account for any short term disruptions, which would be likely to have additional short and long run economic impacts in an immediate no deal scenario.’

Conclusions
51. Government has been accelerating its preparations for a no deal scenario since
September, with a particular emphasis since December 2018. However, the short
time remaining before 29 March 2019 does not allow Government to unilaterally
mitigate the effects of no deal. Even where it can take unilateral action, the lack of
preparation by businesses and individuals is likely to add to the disruption
experienced in a no deal scenario.’

They’re goose is well and truly cooked no matter what but in case of no deal, especially.

We all of us here have lengthy lists of complaints about our government.
But they are on point to perfection on this whole brexit debacle and efforts to mitigate any outcomes here and any blow back. they’re unimpeachable on this. Pains me to say it.

Released a short document today for citizens and businesses on what’s happening and what will happen in case of a crash out brexit. Planning for the worst outcomes and all others. The Brits have produced no such planning or such a document. Well how could they

Yet massive assets are being moved out of the country to safer shores each day.

I’m sure they’re not linked (sarcasm)

Huge crash for the pound and all innocent bystanders incoming though.

My wife has already made several reservations, I wonder if I should tell her to hold off on some other ones.

Yeah I’d be looking at cancelling or if you must go, bringing weapons and ration packs

Start working on your London accent too. And shave your head and get a yellow high vis vest

I'll be sure to use the best London accent ever as a basis:
