Yeah I did break the law, but I'm not the only one: I broke the law a few years ago as well.

What?!

The good Friday agreement is only 35 pages long.

The British foreign secretary hasn’t read it.

This is what we’re dealing with.

I have to admit that since I no longer own property in the UK, my care factor has dropped significantly.

To put those pages in perspective, when Arsenal were proposing to move to Ashburton Grove, there was a document which all councillors were supposed to read. My parents, both councillors, each read every page of it. It was 800+ pages long.

No I’m not on drugs. Nor are you.

They’re putting a border in Kent. Yes the big arse bit of England that has the ports to mainland Europe. There’s gonna be truck tailbacks past London. It’ll take two days for a truck to get through.
It’s gone beyond Monty python now.

So tomorrow is final day. The British are all over the place and threatening war. Over fish.

Here’s a good explainer if what they’re actually losing and losing access to.
It’s frightening. Especially no longer being able to access the nuclear stuff for cancer treatment. And no longer being able to verify Aircraft engineers and mechanics qualifications For airplane safety

Or The French president is threatening to launch a crippling energy embargo against Britain over fishing rights if they don't surrender their sovereignty over their own waters.

My money is on the Brits in all naval matters until history proves otherwise.

Liberal negotiation tactics seem to consist solely of begging for mercy while bending over to take it in the ass.

Bargaining chips? What's that? Why are they not immediately caving to every demand?

We've got a bunch of twats in charge who think international relations is a zero sum game with opponents, and opposing winners and losers. They are stuck in some war fantasy, and wish they could have fought the war like their parents did, so they want to create their own. We had some twat of an MP on BBC Tees saying a good deal for one side will be a bad deal for the other side. Why are you negotiating then? What do you want? For the EU to negotiate what you perceive to be a bad deal for the EU? Fuck these twats and fuck all the twats who voted for them, well done you've now voted these twats onto the local radio. It's amazing how the BBC can always find a climate change denier for balance but never when some Tory or Blairite twat is on!

Not only that. It’s been like that for two days. Local charities and religious groups are having to bring them food. There’s fuck all there. It’s a massive massive truck park they’ve had to build in the middle of the country side.

Boris is *fucked*

Well said.

Spanish minister nailed it the other day. Negotiating trade isn’t about winning or losing Nor is it about Fucking sovereignty/independence. It’s about interdependence.
British team just aren’t getting that. They don’t understand they’re no longer a colonial superpower they’re fighting against 26 countries as one. And they don’t get it.

May we live in interesting times n all that.
