To be fair, dime, he clearly had no idea what it is. And also, it’s not going anywhere. The president is just stupid as fuck, which is why some Americans relate to him so deeply.

It’s not him being dumb sadly. Some head who leads US trade negotiations said the NHS being on the table would be a precondition to any other deals taking place with the UK. Between the EU, you guys, China and India they’re going to picked apart easily and cheaply. Depressing to think when /if brexit ever happens, it’s only the first stage. Trade negotiations will take years

This is the best brexit podcast out there always informative and insightful but particularly this week as Trump waded into it all and what it does/nt mean. You’ll be a lot more informed on brexit each week if you put this in your ears
As I understand it the entire Labour Party is totally opposed to Corbyn and his complete inaction on brexit. He wants his own version of brexit but can’t be seen to support Tories in any way and against the wishes of most of the party. He and they are completely lost in the woods.
I don’t think anyone can comment on them or their position Because nobody knows what it is, and they don’t seem to know either. M
People are furious with the Tories but even more furious with Labours complete lack of position and direction on all this.

This is telling. 54% of Tories would rather see the party destroyed if it meant getting brexit. The conservative and unionist party advocating the break up of the Union. You couldn’t make it up.

Wow. Our Taoiseach just laid the smack down. There will be no further extension for the UK in October unless they have an election or call a second referendum. This is a massive fuck you sort your shit out. Diplomacy be fucked. Basically telling Boris to fuck himself and agree to the withdrawl agreement or fuck off. Wow.

keep your eyes on british media. The DUP are losing their minds right now.
MP's in Westminster have voted to extend SSM to Northern Ireland and will later vote on abortion rights.
These are the two main issues the DUP manage to drop their insistence that they have all the same laws and rules as Britain. Stupid bigoted and politically suicidal of them but now it’s about to bite them hard.
MPs have voted resoundingly to extend same-sex marriage to Northern Ireland, a plan the government has said it will honour despite ministerial doubts.
The Commons voted 383 to 73 to pass the amendment to a largely technical bill on the stalled Northern Ireland assembly, tabled by the Labour MP Conor McGinn, a longstanding campaigner for equal marriage in Northern Ireland.
Quote: MPs will vote later on another amendment to the bill to extend abortion rights to Northern Ireland, tabled by the Labour MP Stella Creasy.
The government has long argued that both issues are devolved matters and should not be imposed on Northern Ireland by Westminster. But McGinn and Creasy say the fact the assembly and executive have been suspended since January 2017 amid political deadlock means action must be taken.

I fell bad for Coveney having to pretty much repeat himself constantly in these interviews and completely outclassing his UK equivalents, then somehow have what he says being completely misrepresented as ‘Ireland backing down’ by journalists like Tim Shipman. It must be like talking to donkeys for him at this stage. Watch this. Marr can’t land a single punch. Then watch the interview with hysterical brexit unicorn fantasist Ian Duncan Smith, afterwards and compare

So Johnson is about to be confirmed as PM tomorrow Three Tory mps have resigned the party bringing the Tory majority down to three There’s a bielection result for one seat In wales tonight which the Lib Dem’s look like they’re going to win off the Tories. That brings it Down to two.
May has to blog to the queen tomorrow to resign and recommend her successor but she can’t recommend him if he doesn’t have a majority government.
It gets more chaotic by the day. General election called soon by most accounts.

Google is telling me that the shortest tenure for a PM is 119 days. Could Boris beat that if he loses his government right after he gets confirmed?

Safe get he’ll beat the record.* Another MP today tried to lodge an emergency motion to have him blocked from the role effectively. Speaker Bercow wouldn’t let it on the floor.
That’s if he gets the majority. It hon ice right now and he’s dancing on it

As many as six Conservative MPs are due to hold talks with the Liberal Democrats this week with the aim of derailing Brexit and Boris Johnson’s premiership.
If even half of them defect to the Lib Dem’s thats the DUP support for Tories made redundant
All of this is an effort to firstly stop this leaving on the 31st no deal crap Johnson has been spouting but in the longer view to call an election and have Lib Dem’s win possibly in coalition with Greens and the Scottish national party.
That happens you’ll see article 50 revoked and the whole nasty brexit business called off. Possibly a second referendum on it further down the line but that’s way too far too call

How long could a Lib Dem/SNP/Green coalition last after they revoke Article 50?
Good question. If they were in government and revoked it, there’s be outcry publicly and in HOC. I don’t think anyone’s thought that far. I haven’t heard that question brought up anywhere
