The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
I legit know zero progressives that criticize the actions of the us and ignore the atrocities that many of these dictator regimes enact in their citizens.

it's kind of interesting
the world waiting and watching, knowing that one high school bully punched another kid, and wanting to create space for that kid to punch him back - but make sure he doesn't go overboard and bring a knife or something, otherwise everyone will step in. and the bully kind of knows he was in the wrong and doesn't want everything to go totally overboard, so he is kind of fine with the kid getting a few shots in, but not letting him go overboard
and then everyone goes back to class
we'll see if that works

Did a Ukrainian plane just *completely coincidentally* crash in Iran the same day this went down and Putin happens to show up in Syria?

That sounds like a much bigger deal than this weird tit-for-tat ceremonial warfare we're fighting now.

Let's all hope that's the end of it. I'm concerned one of Iran's proxies will get a little bold and do something on their own their & start this all back up again.

Iran is surrounded by something like 17 US airbases. Imagine doing that in Canada and Mexico. We came to the brink with Russia trying it. Who’s in the wrong here?
