*Uninformed speculation*

There's a fellow at work who for whatever reason is now an American citizen, but used to be of the British persuasion. Admittedly, he only surmises that the exterior cladding was part of a 'facelift' to make the exterior of the Grenfell building more attractive to the neighbors. Due to the aesthetic nature of the project, the flammability of the material used was not a significant consideration. Is this at all in line with what the British press is saying?
