Sure but on a long enough timeline the robots pay for themselves


in some cases

robots require servicing, spare parts, are very capital intensive - then within a few years they are obsolete

humans are cheap, can be pushed around, lied to, and sent in to die - and then you just replace them with another one

Looking forward to seeing what comes out in Griffin's appearance today. Not sure if it's public, but I won't be able to watch live anyway. But I'm curious to see how Ds/Rs lean on the Citadel-Robinhood "pay for transactions" arrangement. My guess is the Dems will paint the arrangement as not empowering the individual investors, as the companies would have you believe; and the Rs will paint it was "emerging technology + free market = STONKS!"
