The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.

That a police union would tweet this kind of incitement language and face not one instance of pushback from its members is exactly why I think current police culture is toxic beyond repair. No cop who sits silently by while a coworker or organization uses police messaging, resources, or power to intimidate others is a good cop. And yet they all do.
I also see that it's de Blasio, and not the police union, getting ratioed into the ground.
Google what has happened after cash bail was “reformed” and the city’s response to the anticop rhetoric during the MTA protests

For 30 minutes, protesters held signs reading “Fix our Subways” and “Abolish NYPD.” Hundreds of NYPD officers, many of them carrying zip ties, were stationed around the terminal to monitor the demonstrations.
NYPD officials said multiple protesters were arrested Friday night, although they couldn’t immediately say how many. Some of those arrests occurred after protesters left the terminal and marched along Manhattan streets, the officials said.
The MTA, which operates the subway and Grand Central, said the protests had no effect on commuter-rail service out of the terminal and minimal impact on subway service.
Absolutely despicable that the cops on hand didn’t bother shooting these thugs.

My sleep apnea makes me flip out and want to wear my sunglasses too
A district in CA where the city police have atrocious response times is proposing dismantling its district police force to save money.
This may be a great way to close budget gaps: presumably teacher and staff attrition rates will increase. The teachers recently won a pay increase, to the detriment of support staff.
