I wanted to circle back to what she said for second, I saw some tweets from Leo Sapir that captured why this language is in fact dangerous. I'll consolidate them below:

From the guidebook:
"DON'T attribute a suicide death to a single factor (such as bullying or discrimination) or say that a specific anti-LGBT law or policy will 'cause' suicide. Suicide deaths are almost always the result of multiple overlapping causes, including mental health issues that might not have been recognized or treated. Linking suicide directly to external factors like bullying, discrimination or anti-LGBT laws can normalize suicide by suggesting that it is a natural reaction to such experiences or laws. It can also increase suicide risk by leading at-risk individuals to identify with the experiences of those who have died by suicide."
If the idea is truly to protect trans kids, then activists and leaders in that community should not be driving the language towards catastrophizing reactions. Not only is it emotional bullying that will numb their opponents to their suffering, it may drive hopelessness and fixations on death and violence in the very groups they claim to protect.

I gave up after Bi3 convinced me that being bigotted against trans people is how we save trans people.
Dude, no one in this thread is being bigoted and no one (to my knowledge) is endorsing any hatred against trans people. Trans people should have every right and protection that everyone else has. It's that stuff like this post from a trans parents support group doesn't sit right with some folks and it's completely rational to pause and ask when it comes to children are we really doing the right thing?:

"Parents of Transgender Children" is a private Facebook group, but the image on its page has never matched the rainbow colors in the purported screenshot of the profile picture used in the hoax Facebook post where the claim was made.
Ashworth followed up on November 29, 2021, with a comment on his Twitter post, which displays a screenshot of him attempting to join the Parents of Transgender Children Facebook group, stating “ I didn't block out the name, so I have no idea. It leaked from a private group and the name was blocked out by whoever leaked it.”
A reverse image search of this Facebook post reveals the private Reddit community, r/CoronavirusCirclejerk, which is self-described as:
“Sub for coronavirus circlejerking, memes, and sharing and discussing stupid, ridiculous, and amusing posts and discussion from the various panic-filled and alarmists across the internet.”
A Google search of the same text transcribed from the Facebook post produced a meme with the same image as the post except for the title, now "Munchausen By Proxy."
