She had a lot of ‘opinions’. Anti trans comments. Covid denial comments. Anti mask comments. And over a year or two. So it’s not like it came from Nowhere from her either. The holocaust comparison was by far and away the dumbest and most dangerous. She got what she wanted which was to bash the hornets nest. It’s not dangerous she got fired for an ‘opinion’. We’d all be fired too if you did that in our job on the regular too.
"She was asking for it, she said something the giant corporation didn't like."
Stop Bootlicking.
A holocaust comparison, while hyperbolic and goofy, isn't remotely dangerous.
She got fired because she's a conservative working for a gigantic multinational media company that demands submission to it's ideology as a prerequisite to employment. There is no other possible interpretation.
Yeah you're right. One was a woman making the argument that censorship and dehumanization can lead to death camps, while the other was a Totally Real Journalist™ implying that half the country is going to genocide the other half unless they are stopped.
BurtReynolds wrote:I'm going for the "It's idiotic to think that comparing something to the holocaust is a fireable offense considering public figures do it every day" defense.
Imagine watching fans call for your firing for mocking trans people,, and when you don't get fired, you double down by offending the Holocaust survivors.
do any of you rocket scientists actually know what she said? Because it sounds like you have no idea what she actually said.
And I don't know how beaten down by life you have to be to accept being fired because your boss didn't like an utterly mild take on twitter (or any take at all for that matter,) but its a pretty good sign you've completely given in.

Since you didn’t bother to include it, I guess you don’t know what she actually said.
The funniest part about this is that Disney kicks her for things im sure most of their vp´s agree with. Disney is an awful corporation. Now, its playing the cool social media friend, which is super dangerous.
Does anyone have a total post count in this thread for Burt before he got all butthurt over a media personality being held to account for her own tweets?
