Oh the Bon App guy. Yeah, also he and his girlfriend dressed like Puerto Ricans one Halloween. There was a tasteless social media comment as well. It was much more recent.

There are some tweets but they are probably faked. There's also a clip of him saying the f slur, around the same time as the cake. I think overall he was just a major bro and it's all coming out along with the Rappo stuff. It all just sort of adds to the inequality that Sohla speaks about, since the personification of Alex Delany is now that he is a no-talent frat bro who failed up while others on staff were held back.

Man, the BA stuff just gets worse as the lens begins to focus on Delany.
My GF and I got really into watching their videos right before all this stuff popped off, so it's pretty wild to be finding all this out.
Same here. I had never heard of any of them until recently. It seems like BA and the Test Kitchen are really popular with non-industry people as a look at what a kitchen is like, but I can't actually imagine someone like Molly Baz or Alex Delany every working as a line cook or running a kitchen. Loved the At Home series, though. Each one's personality really came through. Alex has some great playlists on Spotify too.

Will the BA Cinematic Universe survive this? Idk. It feels right now like the answer is no. I see Chaey and Sohla and others saying why they're not just leaving is because they see some colleagues starting to put in the work, but I don't know.

The episode where Brad and Claire make bread is pretty much exactly the dynamic my wife and I have in the kitchen.

I saw on instagram that Claire is moonlighting on some other IGTV cooking thing this weekend. The plot thickens.

Shocked at the level of attention you guys give to BA. I’ve always considered their brand sort of phony, based on big personalities, reviews of expensive places, and recipes that are overly complicated or piggybacking on trends. Very much food culture for people who are turned on by swooshes and foams and that sort of shit.
