Sadly, yes. This seems like one of those situations where the prosecutor charges them with something beyond what they are confident they can get a conviction on and blows the case.

I honestly believe this will get fucked up. He was an investigator for the DA's office. They'll take care of their own. After all, it was only a black kid. It wasn't like he was white or anything.

i accepted it will be fucked up hence why it took 2 months for them to be charged.
This along with the constant news cycle and public interest reaching zero in anything after twenty-four to forty-eight hours will bear this out to be true and simply reflective of the modern day.

I in absolutely no way support the atrocity that just happened. it's horrifying
but there is a new video today that shows when he was jogging he stopped at this house that was under construction and went all around inside for 5 minutes and came out and then went jogging again
the neighbors thought it was a burglary
again I am not justifying chasing a person and shooting them. it's horrible.

They said there were a string of robberies in the area yet oddly enough no one reported any robberies in the weeks leading up to it.
Even if there were video of him taking something out of there that is still no reason to shoot him, cops or rednecks
