The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
The video I just watched describes a guy being asked for help by a woman who was sexually assaulted? Or no, not that?
Single source reporting is sus.

The max penalty for "assault" in this case is a 500 dollar fine and up to 30 days in jail. You'd have to be soft as fuck to press charges for something like this but it involved skin color so here we are.The thing is, Army douches life is now actually over. Is this kind of mob revenge justice really appropriate? I'm also just so tired of people jerking themselves off online about shit like this. Don't people watch sports anymore? Go deer hunting? Collect stamps?
Or how about he just leaves the kid alone? In the time he spent harassing him, the kid could’ve been two miles away. But no, he has to show the others in his tight knit neighborhood that he’s Billy Badass and no punk-ass little black kid is gonna walk around THEIR community.
We've established the guy is an asshole. Do you think life altering mob justice is what's really appropriate here.
I do. The asshole deserves all of it that comes to him.
It's funny you'd want to live under authoritarianism.
Leftists today don’t understand this. They naively think that only people they consider “assholes” will “get what’s coming to them”. Little do they understand that every step they take in that delusional direction is one step closer to themselves being that target because someone else arbitrarily decided they were the asshole now. They’ll cheer the mob while slandering and villainizing the target of the mob until the mob turns on them. Then they’ll cry out for help, but it will be too late. This is history repeating itself, they are just too blind or arrogant to see it.
This is the African American reality in America every day. Let’s not confuse the ideal of a level playing field with AUTHORITARIANISM.

Someone tell PHATJ that Trump & his base spent 4-5 years yelling everyday that anyone who was against them, whether they were Libs, RINOs, Dems, protestors, whatever, would get what's coming to them. I don't think they understood the implications of their actions.

Every Trumper I know who gloated and bragged about what a partisan asshole Trump was, is now complaining bitterly about liberals doing the same shit (which is often debatable itself).
It would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic.
But it's always fun to bring it up when they start ranting, even though the lightbulbs over their heads burned out a long time ago.
There is some level of irony that after centuries of living in terror of extrajudicial mob justice under slavery and jim crow, footage of which was so repugnant that it became instrumental in the civil rights movements of the 20th century, it appears that very behavior is now the height of enlightened activism today.

And already we’re back to throwing peaceful protest and violent mobs together in the same tidy bucket. Mid season protest season form, old bean!

The problem with Trumpers is that they want to paint everybody with a broad brush and at the same time having their cake and eating it too.
There are a lot of Demorcats/Liberals who believe that protest in general doesn't accomplish anything. It's more of a social event than a political one.
We should be focusing more on dismantling the circular logic and blatantly un-American bullshit that "patriotic" Trumpers are constantly throwing at us, as taught to them by the ex-Orangutan-In-Chief.

It depends on your perspective of the goals of dozens of people going to someone's home, standing on and around their property, and chanting... not exclusively and amoungst many others things... for them to come out, eventually leading to the house being vandalized and cops having to be stationed there... is. Is it to express your displeasure with the behavior of law enforcement or maybe is it to intimidate the person the house?

But people would rather grandstand.
There are lost causes in MAGA that will never stop to reflect on their beliefs, but maybe we do hold some level of responsibility to not feed their misconceptions through actions. Like if they say "BLM is nothing but an excuse for rioting and violence against cops"... it's viscous circle.

my perspective is that is not the height of enlightened activism today.
