She might look like one-piece Barbie but she actually speaks quite intelligently compared to , well Trump.
In the least she seems to have practiced what she was going to say --pronouncing drug names etc.
Of course everyone latched onto the "embers" part but what made even less sense was when she said that it is nuw infecting more younger people so "we are catching it in the community". Does anyone know wtf that even means?,

In my own personal experience wearing a homemade, cloth face covering, I don't touch my face at all when wearing it. And as kind of a cool observation I don't have the urge to touch my face when wearing it either. Which is a big deal, because when I'm home and not worried about surfaces, touching my face is a real source of comfort to me. It's one way I cope with anxiety and actually really like touching my face
I’m glad you’ve found something that works for you. I don’t agree with some of your other arguments for the general public, but the important thing is that you stay safe. If you wear masks right, it can’t hurt, and it could help. It’s important that people are aware of the pitfalls, and take extra care, like you do.
‘We have concluded that there is no beneficial effect of hydroxychloroquine in patients hospitalised with COVID-19. We have therefore decided to stop enrolling participants to the hydroxychloroquine arm of the RECOVERY trial with immediate effect. We are now releasing the preliminary results as they have important implications for patient care and public health."
Why is Ebola give 3 years but HIV/AIDS given 40? My only point is that we've got new outbreaks of Ebola this year and it arrived prior to 2014.
Seems racist.
My guess is that the former Ebola strain was beaten in 2016. If something, let's say the black plague returns (which I think it has at times), they still only count the main outbreak as a separate outbreak. Otherwise, if a small Black Plague outbreak happened now, they would have to go 1347-2020.
Edit: The Black Plague still exists:
Every year, thousands of cases of the plague are still reported to the World Health Organization, although with proper treatment, the prognosis for victims is now much better. A five- to six-fold increase in cases occurred in Asia during the time of the Vietnam War, possibly due to the disruption of ecosystems and closer proximity between people and animals. The plague is now commonly found in sub-Saharan Africa and Madagascar, areas that now account for over 95% of reported cases. The plague also has a detrimental effect on nonhuman mammals
Or maybe they had a different strain of the virus. Or maybe 100 million other variables. It takes years to conduct an effective study of drug treatments against well understood conditions, why bother publishing this other than to drive clicks?

I know. The article ends by saying that a chunk of patients being treated with the drug were excluded from the final study population because they were still hospitalized . Wtf?
I see this all the time where there is a big headline, but then you read the details and the "study" is a minute one at one location with weird variables and isn't controlled , double-blind etc. It pisses me off because SOO many people just read the headline and then are like "oh so it looks like Trump was right afterall" or whatever .

Anyone know how to find the number of cases reported for the current day?
If you google, you get cases in each state as of yesterday. When does today get recorded, and where does it get posted?
NC, by the way, broke 2000 cases in a day for the first time today, and our hospitalizations hit a high of 951. Still not exponential growth, but our trend line might be moving a bit from a line to a curve as of today.

TN has a special website and it’s updated at 2pm daily.
