You want a vision of the future? Imagine a mammoth welfare system tied to a social credit system keeping you just above the poverty line (as long as you don't say anything against the Establishment online, in which case a percentage will be docked), and a surveillance state ruled by corporate tech oligarchs, forever.

"We're taking care of our seniors. You’re not vulnerable. But they like to say 'the vulnerable.' But you’re the least vulnerable. But for this one thing, you are vulnerable. " - Trump, 10/8/2020

"...You can even say that the Soviet Union was our Carthage, & the Cold War was our Punic Wars. But now our Carthage is gone, & we are masters of the known world, & our republic is on its last legs."
It occurs to me that Trump is our Sulla. Taking power with a mandate to reform and wipe out enemies, but misunderstanding the problem, and ultimately changing nothing.

its also apparent to me that he hasn't the charisma to do any of it.

Dear Europe, we're very sorry for our cultural hegemony. We didn't realize it was a problem* until the Czechs started organizing BLM marches. The Czechs, with their famous Danube slave barges.
*we thought it was limited to weird localized dubs of American sitcoms, we thought you were indifferent to our internal politics
Why were Dutch people in 2018 making documentaries about Kekistan and Jordan Peterson? Oh goodness, what have we done?

Khalistan is a would be Sikh homeland carved out of Punjab. I do enjoy that these guys named their album, "Straight outta Khalistan".
I think they'd have better luck establishing a Sikh homeland if they focused on California's central valley. They already have a decent footprint in agriculture and logistics. I imagine the locals would prefer rule by Sikh religious council to rule by Gavin Newsom.

Can we amend the CA partition plan to include Khalistan?

Bi's Rapture comment reminded me:
People often talk about Bioshock as being a dystopian attack on the Ayn Rand worldview, but forget that most of the second half of 1 and most of 2 is spent fighting dirty commies. Did anyone actually play these games?
