The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
The Kurds might never control all the lands they live on, certainly not in our time. But they do have a lot of power over their northern region of Iraq, and currently in their region in Syria, although in opposition to the Syrian government.
They have been an ally in the fight against the IS and terrorism. Yet, they are mostly left to their own, as they are now being attacked by both Turkey and Iran, into their Syrian and Iraqi regions.
Think it would be better for them if the Iraqi part of Kurdistan, would be allowed to break out of Iraq, and form their own country.
