The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
The more time someone spends on Twitter, the more likely their view of the world is distorted by all the shouting. And the more likely they start shouting too. Being on Twitter contributes to a sense that the thing being shouted about is hugely important and being discussed by THE WHOLE WORLD when in fact it's being discussed solely by people who are Extremely Online. The Covington Catholic controversy is just the most recent example.
Finally something on cnn that is not fake news

10% staff reduction that will hit about 250 people. Vice’s layoffs come just a week after BuzzFeed said it would cut 15% of its workforce, or about 200 jobs, and Verizon Media Group, which includes HuffPost, Yahoo and AOL, eliminated 800 positions.

While this pleases me as well, it’s not all good. The corporate structure provided at least some level of control over the content that was published. Given how progressives are prone to psychotic overreactions from things as simple as a smirk, do we really need more of them drifting over to left wing InfoWars style sites?
