Over/under on when the National Guard is going to be called in Tiananmen Square style.

I’ll be surprised if the protests amount to much at all. People just got done voting; they feel heard.
And, I mean, it’s still Jeff Sessions.

Slow news day: yay or nay?

No takers.
He started the day with a press fight...Always a sign that nothing’s about to happen, yes? Stupid press fights aren’t just some distracting, weird game of “look over here, not over there.”

There's no such thing as a slow news day anymore.
Trump's whole strategy seems to be to create a giant storm of news, make the storm bigger with fake news and "media" complaints, then hide in the black hole in the middle, protected by the general public being overwhelmed.
Sometimes it's just easier to shake your head and move on.

If we count this shutdown as starting 1/2/19 for this Congress, this hits after today, doesn't it?

I have a new one. I thought about making this two separate predictions, but the more I thought about it, the more I am sure they will happen at the same time.
My prediction is: No woman will be elected to the U.S. presidency until both of the major parties nominate women as their candidates in the same year...and that first female president will be a Republican.

I didn't want to bump this thread too soon and snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
I think I'll have it as of the end of the day today if this session began on the 3rd. So I think I still need this thing to hang on for another 14 hours and 10 minutes.
