My first job working in a restaurant was the clubhouse diner at my neighborhood golf course. Most of the day was spent with the news or Sportscenter on, waiting for golfers to come in. This was back in 2004-2005. Height of the Bush years and prime Fox News ratings.
I’d default to CNN, young rebel that I was, but when the golfers came in they demanded Fair and Balanced. I got to know Fox News very well. Shep was a beacon of light, for sure.
One day a hurricane hit town and suddenly he was broadcasting live from my neck of the woods. I lost a lot of respect for him after he did that thing anchors do during hurricanes when they want to make it look like the wind is blowing really hard.

Last one is my favorite, but they're all pretty good.
