Boston police are talking to a Saudi national who denies any involvement. He was seen running from the area and tackled by a civilian.

CBS's John Miller and BPD's Ed Davis are saying different things. CBS tends to be pretty solid too, unless it's Dan Rather doing Bush story.

Footage shows lots of white people running away too. Gotta stick with facts in these situations.

The media here in Australia have said a few debatable things too. Man I hate irresponsible and emotive journalism.

Aussie reporters haven't stopped calling us all afternoon. The boss finally told us to stop taking their calls.

is this semantics, though? a "person of interest" is not necessarily a "suspect"

Yeah, but when it was just the NY Post saying it I brushed it off as bullshit completely.

I've already seen similar things on FB, featuring caricatures of all the Boston sports mascots. It's just not a response I understand.

More importantly, which city IS the right one to mess with? I'm assuming Detroit.

I think they'll think twice about calling hospitals though.

It just doesn't help. Let the city, it's services and media get on with the ongoing situation and take what ever info is given to you. And don't speculate. Rolling news is a virus.
