I think it shows the relative size of influential accounts, but not necessarily total number of accounts for whatever side. And the big black dot in the middle is Trump himself, so I don't think it divides cleanly between pro and anti-trump conservatives.

I assumed they avoided banning the large accounts because they wanted to avoid an exodus, but since they can shut down alternative social media right now, why worry about that?
