So which is it? Simple mockery or pSyOp?
There are two distinct things Spike, the video and it's virality.

So a tik tok video’s intentions are not known until it goes (or doesn’t) go viral?

If the argument is that information manipulation is going to flood these platforms in 2024, yes…undoubtedly.
If the argument is that social media companies require regulation because of their massive cultural and political footprint, and because of their manipulability by bad actors, then let’s just talk about the ins and outs of that directly.

This isn't going to help anything. Of course the real issue is that we have done a terrible job educating zoomers, so they're dumber than normal for their age.

The EU are about to kick Musks ass and wallet very very hard.
As seemed inevitable, EU has opened legal proceedings against Elon Musk’s X under new Digital Services Act law.
— suspected breach of obligations to counter illegal content and disinformation — suspected breach of transparency obligations — suspected deceptive design of user interface
Action announced today by Commissioner Thierry Breton.
This is what happens when you dismantle Trust & Safety and think you can just run a social network like a 2am chatnet with no rules
Blue check system and ‘Community Notes’ also in the firing line (see pic).
Maximum penalty is 6% of worldwide turnover (not profit).
Possible outcomes:
1. Musk threatens to (or does) pull X from EU 2. Musk negotiates with Commission for a return of Trust & Safety to minimise fine 3. Musk risks full fine cos way lower now than before due to ad boycott
