Maybe he had refused food and water, to try to starve himself to death. Coma ensued, and they didn't want to kill him or waste much time keeping him alive. So they handball his carcass back, when the damage was already done.

Fuck those fucking fuckers. Rage building, drone strike imminent.

From: http://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-06-20/w ... ea/8633572

Dr Kanter said the gifted student suffered extensive loss of brain tissue in all regions of his brain, but that the cause and circumstances of the injury were unknown.

"This pattern of brain injury, however, is usually seen as a result of cardiopulmonary arrest where the blood supply to the brain is inadequate for a period of time resulting in the death of brain tissue," he said.

Doctors said hospital tests did not reveal any evidence of botulism.

Strangulation? Attempted suicide? Looking at the footage of his confession, the latter seems plausible. Terrible end to someone's life, after simply stealing a sign.

Fuck.

Is that closer than they usually shoot their teenie tiny wittle baby missiles? I feel like this happens 2-3 times per year, not sure if this is any more menacing.

This one seemed pretty close to Japan. Plus with Trump itching to start a fight with them, this has potential

What's Trump gonna do? Bomb some military installations or something?

No but he could provoke South Korea to do something

One thing I still struggle to understand is why the North Koreans are having so much trouble developing technology that other nations have had since the 1950s. I mean, sure, I bet there are parts of ICBM tech that are guarded as state secrets, but certainly most of the crucial components are described in textbooks somewhere, right? Or on Wikipedia? I find it hard to believe that if a country throws its entire weight behind developing something like this that it wouldn't crack the nut in more than a few years. Plus Asians are good at math.

My elementary understanding is a more basic lack of infrastructure (power supplies, processing facilities), things of that nature. I believe that they pretty much understand the exact science and modern technology of what they want to do, but don't have the resources in place to support the technology.
