South Korea is in the process of getting a THAAD system, and apparently it only covers 120 degrees so the submarine ballistic test launches pose a problem. Are there limitations to field of coverage beyond the AESA issues?

We've been remiss.
Is there any chance that any current US anti-icbm tech works outside of possible staged tests, even assuming that the opposition doesn't have decoys/ mirvs?

I'd only heard a tiny bit about this story; what was the deal, again?
Got caught stealing some sort of propaganda sign from a building, sentenced to like 30 years hard labor, spent 18 months there but slipped into a coma for most of it. The Korean Gov't blamed the hard labor or something? Others thing they poisoned him? They sent him home in a coma, and now died.
