Bob was a good time--I remember my mother clearing out the closet so all 5 of us could huddle in there.

I remember being in the car driving under the eye when it made second landfall in Maine.

Also I'm going to a wedding on the south coast tomorrow. I'm going to wake up Sunday morning 10 feet from the water in Fairhaven.

Bob was nuts. I lived in Falmouth, MA at the time. Eye went over us. Boats in our back yard. No power, so no running water for quite a while.

All day I've heard about landfall on Long Island, now my man says it's going to be RI/Buzzard's Bay:

I just saw that too. Not what we're looking for, Mark.

Henri is making landfall in Misquamicut where I'm currently renting for a week. The universe doesn't want me to have any fun.

Yikes that water is usually like five feet below that wall.

One of my food runners asked me if Misquamicut would be OK by Wednesday as she was leaving yesterday, "Sure, if it's still there."

Stay safe bada. At least you're renting ;)

This storm ended up taking a weird path I don't think I've ever seen before--made landfall on RI south coast and is going to the NW and will eventually loop around to the NE, missing Boston and Providence both.

It’s definitely a crooked shaft.

Dodged a bullet here in central CT. Models yesterday had the center close to New Haven, but turned out the Friday models showing a CT/RI landfall were accurate. Very weird path, indeed, seems the last storm is partly to thank for that. Just glad I have power. Lost it for 5-6 days last August with Isais.
