Current situation. Power flickering. Watched neighbor's basketball hoop (on its side) blow across their lawn and driveway.

No power
At least one tree down in our front yard, but missed the house.

This is the first one in a couple of years where we didn't leave town because it was projected to just be a TS, but it hit us as a Cat 1. Fuck this shit.

Leaving your house isn't the best idea in all situations

Do you have shutters?

I know that they're not going to help a tree on your roof , I'm asking for other windy reasons

Did you go through all the prep steps? Haha-- can opener , fill the tub with water, charge everything , fill gas tank, generator, buy batteries , fill drinking containers, bring in gnomes, hammocks, and other garden missiles etc

Still no power. No AC in August in North Carolina is not fun.

Two downed trees and a bunch of big limbs down as well. I'm going to be cleaning up this shit forever.

I sent ruddo three solid tree puns this morning and he didn't laugh once. He must be pretty busy.

Stupid Chop

Obey the Saw of the Heart

Thin My Tree

DeWalt Or None

Ryobi Girl

Those first two were admittedly just the warm up, but those last three deserved a heart emoji at the very least.

Cell towers are down because of power. I have to drive places to get signal. I'm just starting to get signal at home again. I hope you are happy, trag
