I'm sure the immediate politics of this will be centered around federal response quality and climate change. Then, long weeks of slow updates as the area becomes incrementally accessible again on the ground.

Or it could be that, like with Sandy, Republican politicians will work to prevent disaster support funds for those impacted, and we will be talking about that.
