what are the odds Mitch 'retires' in the next six-eight months?

Burt: There may as well be. Give us our corporate parties so we know who we're really voting for instead of trying to look at donations and LLC straw companies.

lol.

By the way, that Mississippi governorship that used to lean R by 34 points ended with a 5.8% Republican “landslide.” Thank you dear leader!

True. But the 2020 ballot won't have Clinton on it, so that's a positive.

Just another reminder that Trump lost the popular vote by 3 million in 2016 and has had historically low favorability numbers since being elected.

There's just not enough room left for this wiggle to waggle. Turnout continues to be at presidential levels for both teams, Republican fundraising continues to be set records, and the majority of poll respondents say the president is a primary factor in their voting choices.

He campaigned hard for Bevin, making the election about him as much as he could. His own words, at his own packed rally, on the subject of a Democratic Kentucky governor: "you can't let them do that to me."

In point of fact, Republicans actually did ok lower down on the ballot, all across Kentucky. It was only the one guy that Trump specifically stumped for that lost.
