I'm not going to dig back to find it, but Burt posted that polls are an absolute joke and I completely agree. Such useless "information" and further proliferation of politics as a form of entertainment.
Two smart guys having smart ideas.

WhoTF is this Norris person with 56000 posts?

The twitter handle helps me see the light ...
Anyway why are people changing their RM usernames? I don't get it. Actually I don't care and I retract the question.
Looks like Nevada is not releasing updates tonight.

Oh they're not useless. They may have some utility for persuading herd animals. Though not that much it seems.

It's incredible how little change there was in Congress. Have we ever had so little movement?
It's not clear how much movement there's been yet--AP says we have three flipped seats in the Senate and 11 in the House (and potentially more coming). It's low compared to 2018, when the Dems grabbed 41 seats in the House alone, but that was also a first-term midterm. In 2016, only 7 seats swapped hands in the House. So, no, not historically noteworthy.

Which of the two of you is masturbating more furiously right now watching all the results come in?

Best thing I've lurked in the last 24 hours. Trag, your balanced and thoughtful takes are pleasantly unifying and tastefully patriotic.

The fact that this is so close reflects on America very, very poorly.
Hard disagree. A Biden presidency with a GOP senate would probably be a very accurate reflection of where Americans are at right now. I’d be thrilled to see the next four years playing out with a couple key EAs (climate and taxes), and a return to bipartisan legislation that sees all voices represented in DC.
I'm not saying the reflection is inaccurate it's just ugly. Its the cleanest mirror in the world with Danny fuckin Devito in it.
Donald Trump is a cancer that needs to be removed, and the Richard Spencer set can get cancer and die...
I’m otherwise generally over the idea that Congress should reflect my ideals. I think the ethically higher goal is that all ideals are present and accounted for, and at this moment I can envision the next four years being a decent approximation of that.

The poll debate between Mickey and Burt a few pages ago was interesting. I liked Mickey's take better overall, but Mickey continues to misunderstand/project onto/misrepresent the Burt school. In this case, it made for a good discussion where everybody learned from both sides.
