I think that if anyone can overcome that sexism, it's Harris. I worry that Warren and Gillibrand are going to struggle more in overcoming that.

So I see de Blasio violated Miami's equivalent of "never get involved in a land war in Asia". Last prominent person I remember doing that was Colin Kaepernick.
Polling this soon after a debate is always going to be pretty useless. People, as a group, often normalize their reactions over the next week or so towards whatever broad narrative is getting the most attention.
But beyond that, a strong showing last night might have sealed the nomination for Biden. Anything less puts him at risk, because the entirety of his draw has been “can probably beat Trump.” Every other plausible front runner has a policy set, philosophy, or narrative beyond that basic want for victory. If he can’t hold up against his own, it’s going to chip away at peoples expectations.

Personally I would never vote for someone whose job used to be putting people in prison. I understand that somebody has to do that job but I would never want that person to be president.

Would you want them to be Supreme Court justices, who have a lot of influence on criminal law? Y'know, people like Earl Warren or Sonia Sotomayor?

The cycle continues. I hate this so much. It’s like a season of The Bachelor or some shit.
How...how do you think a primary is supposed to go?
