What bothers me most about those photos is his brand spanking new hiking boots someone got him for the big photo shoot!

I think people are reaching a bit far with that Trump tweet when they conclude that he's suggesting Gillebrand offered him sex for campaign money. That's not how I read it at all.

I don't like to suggest he was trying to be clever, but that alternative interpretation was the intent.

I feel like on Twitter and in the media, we've done this hundreds of times since the start of the campaign; thinking, "no, he couldn't have meant that." He meant the sleazy, scummy thing; that's never a bad bet to take.

Oh well.

They really are going to take the worst parts of each proposal and end up with a truly awful bill.
