The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
Was a tough call, but I went for Tragzabinga. Mario Kart, Half Life, NHL 95, Twisted Metal. I love Halo, Super Mario World and Portal, but most of the other r2d games are minor for me.
run2death 1. Super Mario World (SNES) 2. GoldenEye 007 (N64) 3. Super Metroid (SNES) 4. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (PS1) 5. Portal (PC) 6. Halo: Combat Evolved (XBox) 7. The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Gameboy) 8. StarCraft (PC) 9. Galaga (Arcade) 10. Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem (GameCube)
Tragzabinga 1. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (SNES) 2. Mario Kart (Wii) 3. Half-Life 2 (PC) 4. Twisted Metal 2 (PS1) 5. NHL 95 (Sega Genesis) 6. The Oregon Trail (graphical version, 1985, Apple II) 7. Metroid: Zero Mission (GBA) 8. Missile Command (Arcade) 9. Rocket League (PS4) 10. Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Father (PC)
Super Metroid puts run2death over the top for me. Otherwise this matchup is much closer than it appears.

i am really surprised. I thought R2D had much more of a crowd-pleasing team, happy to see some of my personal faves were loved by some others as well (though i don't think i got a single vote because of Gabriel Knight).
What exactly did I make up? 3rd place is ultimately meaningless. The whole tourney is intended to be for fun, but some of you are being dicks for no reason. Any tourney with teams is going to be unbalanced in some way or another.

i'd like to thank my sponsors at Alpha King for carrying me to the championship round. Alpha King: when you're leading a digital caravan on The Oregon Trail and your testosterone has taken a hit, reach for Alpha King, the only male performance enhancing supplement endorsed by Thumper from Twisted Metal 2.
