I think I have to go with "Girl's Not Grey". At least its main riff is kind of cool. "The Adventure" just sounds like a failed U2 song. And what a horrible non-chorus. "ayooooooo here I aaaaaaaaaam"

I've heard that Angels and Airwaves song about 1000 times and had no idea it was Tom DeLonge. Running with Jorge's comparison, I'd probably rather listen to U2's worst song than listen to this AFI song, so I'll give Angels and Airwaves my vote. I can't blame Tom DeLonge for wanting to do something more ambitious than Blink 182.

How could you hear that for more than two seconds and not know that was Tom DeLonge? That shocks me.
There are actually several songs by Angels and Airwaves that I like.

By the time this song had come out singers that sounded like Tom DeLonge were a dime a dozen. I'm sure if I'd have ever listened with any degree of focus I'd have figured it out, but it was just a song that played in the background on a satellite station I was made to listen to.

To be fair to "The Adventure", I kind of like the way the verses go, but then the song completely peters out at the chorus. I can't believe they didn't think to write something else for that spot.
