Despite the godawful lyrics, I like the Max sections of Jumpdafuckup. It has a nice, heavy groove. Those Corey Taylor verses are just death, though. And there are too many of them.

BQAD is so, so beautiful, and has always been one of my favorite songs. Definitely an anthem for me in high school.

I've always thought the acoustic version was something really special:

Those vocals...

Oh I forgot this matchup. The Deftones song is a couple notches above the rest

Good lord, "Jumpdafuckup" is terrible (with a title like that, whoda thunk, right?). The riffing is ultra generic, the screaming vocals are wholly unremarkable, and the outro is standard fare for when nu metal goes atmospheric. Nothing to hang onto at all in this song.

Deftones go ahead and prove again that this genre isn't completely unsalvageable. The music is a little unimpressive compared to some of their other songs, but it has some nice details. Chino's vocals really carry it.

Some really nice chords in BQAD. I always liked Deftones' approach to the music, pushing things into something more emotionally compelling by finding lush combinations of notes.

You losers really don’t appreciate the nuances of Max Cavalera’s vocals!

Oh I absolutely do, Jumpdafuckup is a career low for Max though.

Be Quiet and Drive: His singing really annoys me. I want to get into it but I just can't. 2:07.

Jumpdaadudfudsf: No. :25.
