Seems interesting, hopefully those images aren't simulated and are representative of what it actually does both graphically and physically.

I'll get it too when that Mario game comes out, especially if it is in the $250-300 range.

You're going to want battery-powered Zelda games in your fallout shelter, Ruddo.

I doubt it will have a disc drive. Looks like cartridges/SD cards and digital downloads.

I don't love the controller idea, however, I love the mobile / home idea. Text will be a challenge. I want to see how that's handled.

I can't wait for my kids to start breaking and losing all of those pieces.

I don't think these detachable controllers will be too expensive.

Controllers seem so overpriced nowadays anyways.

The portability factor has no appeal to me. I wanna be on my couch when playing video games.

Plus it's just another fucking screen for people to walk around with their face buried in. The robots have taken over.

Here's the thing, you can still use it as a traditional console only. It works for everyone!

My wife had the same thought, and she extended it to the ipad that the school issued to our son. She doesn't like him using it too much and I feel like we don't let him use it enough. Until about a year ago, we hadn't had a video game console in the house and even then we bought a Wii. (No, that isn't missing a U.) I feel like his future is going to have a lot of tech in it - barring some odd WW3 scenario - so the more experience he has with it the better.
