Way to go!
I have been slowly picking my way through NG+, mostly just hitting the main legacy dungeons and bosses. I really didn't hit any resistance and was just shredding previously impossible bosses with ease until the endgame areas (Farum Azula, Haligtree and final bosses) at which point the difficulty ramped waaaaaay up. Melania was a nightmare, as was Horah Loux. I'm stuck on Radagon/Elden Beast and might just give up .

I've been holding off on NG+ and am instead picking up a lot of items (talismans and wondrous physick items) I missed. I'm still stumbling across new areas -- I missed a bunch of stuff in the early phase of the game.
I've got only two achievements left as well -- I believe those are for the two other main endings.
In hindsight, I wish I hadn't used a guide as much as I did once I got past the first 30-40 hours or so. I would rather have missed a bunch of stuff the first playthrough and maintained the sense of discovery and then go full-on guide for NG+. Still an amazing experience.

beat Elden Ring last night.. didn't expect that to be the final boss.. went in with a helper who kinda whooped on him at close range while I hung back with magic arrows.. kinda disappointed it's the end. doubt I will start a new game plus anytime soon. I sat in the throne, so that's the ending I ended up with. Wasn't aware I had any choice for another ending.
it only took me 4 and a half months! what a gargantuan journey this was

Short of quitting your job and devoting all of your attention to keeping detailed notes on questlines, I have no earthly idea how anyone would determine there are multiple endings unless you use guides at some point. The steps required to get the runes that open up the other ending options are in no way obvious.
I'd be curious how much content (areas, equipment, quests, etc.), percentage-wise, any player who didn't use guides misses on their first playthrough. It's gotta be at least 50%, right?

It's amazing but, once I was done, I felt like it had gone by way too fast! MOAR CONTENT

You could always try the Dark Souls series.
I might have to. They remastered them, right? It kinda stinks going back in time to inferior gameplay and graphics (relative to the latest games).
I fired up the original God of War after finishing Ragnarok the other night and couldn’t make it five minutes before quitting. Looks and feels so antiquated after the uber-satisfying gameplay of 2018 and Ragnarok. Remaster (better yet, remake) that shit, Santa Monica!
