Any fans? Finished Dark Souls 2 today (the full SOTFS ps4 version)

I had to skip a bit of the original DLC cause it was way too hard/annoying and i have a life (sometimes)

Started Dark Souls 3 right after, only played til the first boss, but thought it was more fast paced, which looks good (reminded me of Sekiro)

Already finished Sekiro and Nioh 1 also.

I always have to play this games with some kind of guide cause im no good

According to the morons over at Games Radar, Crash Bandicoot is the "Dark Souls of Platforming".

If you don't mind the age of it, the Legacy of Kain series reminds me of Dark Souls a bit though.

I need to try Dark Souls again after playing the remake of Demon's Souls.

I do appreciate how some of the mechanics of these games have been adopted by other third person action games.

Dark Souls 3 is a masterpiece. The "weapon art" mechanic gave the game an insane amount of depth. You really did feel like trying out just about every weapon just to see what the weapon art moveset was like.

Crash 4 is even harder. I’ve at least beaten 1 a few times over the years.

100%-ing Crash 1 would be hard, but it's definitely not the Dark Souls of 3D platformers.

Jedi: Fallen Order has a few of those elements, though i'm only familiar with Bloodborne. I saw it called souls-lite in a few interviews and i can see that. I died a lot. The combat relies heavily on parry timing, especially against bosses where you need to memorize their moves. The checkpoint/lost XP system is kind of similar too.

What was your starting class? Which boss did you last beat? Which weapon(s)/magic are you using?

Feel free to throw it in spoiler tags.

Wait, is that the starting weapon? Sounds a little, I dunno, vanilla? I couldn't wait to swap out my starting weapon for a big fuck off sword/axe/hammer/spear, but to each his own...

its not a starting weapon, but its found quite ealier
but its a decent weapon for PVE

it fits well my knight build

right now:

Broadsword +7
Dragon Crest Shield
Full Exiled Armor

Havel's Ring
Chloranty Ring
Life Ring
Silvercat Ring

i want to change the shield and the last ring, but it needs to be at 70% to not fat roll

Oh, it's +7--yeah that'll do the job. Do you have access to any miracles like Sunlight Blade?

Did you go to Dragon's Reach? It's kinda obscure--I had to look up how to get there--but it's worth it for the hardest fight in the base game. Then there's the DLC which is insane.
