I didn't know where else to post this so figured I'd start this thread. This video sums up well why modern Madden games are disappointing and explains what happened. Highly recommend. I really hope EA loses their monopoly on NFL games soon. |

They did make an announcement about crossing platforms at some point, but no confirmed timeline yet from what I know. There's a bit of anxiety in Show-Land because there have been no details about The Show '21--at this point they've usually announced pre-order bonuses and stuff like that (you usually get an in-game bonus for the current year if you pre-order for next year). |

Games with more static actions (like baseball) can be much more manageable to create. The reliance on microtransactions and predatory business practices don't help with innovation either. |

I don't know man... there really is no excuse for a football game from the early 2000's like NFL 2k to have better gameplay than one made in 2021. It's clearly from lack of effort. And why give a shit if they sell like hot cakes every year with no competition. I guess that's their excuse but fuck EA and their shiny pieces of shit. |
