Among Us

Lots of takes like the one above. Basically this is the game to play for the gaslit, paranoid months of 2020.

Anyone play here? I'd love to get an RM group going. Playing with randoms in the public lobby is awful, plus they're probably all fifth graders.

We’ve been playing as a family for weeks. It’s pretty fun.

I imagine it's a totally new dynamic with friends and family.

I'd play with you, reid. I might not be very good, though. I've never played before, but my understanding is that to succeed in this game you must engage in trickery. And since I am incapable of perpetrating ruses, I might struggle.

Agreed. It's fun to do it with friends. It's better than strangers and better than playing with people in your house.

What's the point? RM is one big game of Among Us. More than half of the usernames are second accounts.

B would absolute be the one at the discussion table saying cyan is not the imposter because "they scanned" only to be told by the whole crew that cyan was the one who was just killed.

If anyone is interested in playing a couple of rounds, I made a room. I set it up for 10, but all we really need is 5 or 6.

Mira HQ map/1 imposter.

I think I might have done this.

The more I play this in public lobbies, the more I lose hope in humanity, but there's a second game going on with this that keeps me coming back.

The crapshoot prize of hooking up with a solid crew & great rapport is always a possibility in public lobbies. Even moreso if you can find a good crew in a room with interesting settings. That's almost more thrilling than pulling off a successful imposter run on a 10/10 lobby.

Let's get a RM game going reid

Re: Among Us

Wed December 23, 2020 4:07 am

virtually impossible to get good participation at the drop of a hat these days.

Maybe if it was 2011 and we were all still putzing 'round RM all hours

Re: Among Us

Wed December 23, 2020 4:14 am

There was greater participation on RM in 2011 because we used to have leaders who would show initiative and actually do things. Are people on the internet less these days? No! We just don't have leaders. We have lost our will. You write about Among Us but don't start a game. No one volunteers to help kt with her covers tournament. It's like we don't care anymore

We really don't
