A few more hours in and the story is amazing. Ballsy direction and I can see why this game is being polarising. Loving it though. Just enjoy the fucking ride, seriously.

Has anyone noticed that the dark areas aren't all that dark? I've reduced the brightness in the settings, but it doesn't really make a lot of difference. Takes away from the horror side somewhat.

The only thing about these games is not knowing how far into the game you are. I have no idea if I'm 5%, 50% or whatever into the game.

No HDR. I think mine's an OLED. Maybe I need to adjust my dynamic contrast. Do have have that set on your TV and, if so, how high?

I really wish this game had multiplayer. The combat is incredibly animated.

Anything's possible down the track, they did it for Uncharted 4.

I read before (and think a couple times now) that there will probably be some kind of Factions release for this one, presumably for the next gen. Druckmann has already indicated that there will be no DLC (a la Left Behind), but sounds like multiplayer is still a distinct possibility. Trying to find that source...

Your TV either has it or it doesn't. I find the lighting to be incredible in general. The light comes from natural sources and fills areas very realistically.

I just don't get it, though. What do they seek to gain? Even if you actually REALLY hate the story choices, you can't deny it's a very well made video game, worthy of at least a 7. I've said it in this thread before, but the first game had one of the multiplayer modes of the last generation of consoles. It was really well done. Hoping to see some refinements of that same basic formula, but with combat improvements at some point.
