The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
I’m actually learning Unreal Engine in my spare time, because my son is interested in game development and I want to be able to help him learn enough to be actionable. We previously learned RPG Maker, such that he was able to build a little 30 minute To the Moon-inspired game to share with friends.
Two of his 11-year old brain’s ideas:
1. A top-down strategic war game where the dead become zombies. He wants the opposing sides have to fight each other while also collaborating a bit to avoid becoming overrun, and to have it be that the more intense the fighting, the more zombies are being birthed to fuck up your strategy...ie in a successful assault, you’re leaving a litter of zombs at your back.
2. Some game involving creating and maintaining/expanding a balanced ecosystem in a formicarium.

My video game has the best graphics ever. Everything looks real and you can't believe it. You can walk around and undress supermodels and have sex with them. Also, you hook up a device to your penis so you can actually feel the sex IRL. It's a best seller.

But still not as good as Mario.

When I was playing Link to the Past last month, my wife walked into the room, and I asked if she’d blow me while I was playing. She laughed and left the room. But had she actually blown me, I think that would have been the best video game experience ever.

What would your video game of little person characters be about?

Number 1 is a great idea

I'm learning Unity and C# in my spare time so I can make a game. My MSc was on emergent narrative in computer games, so the goal is something that combines that with awe-filled exploration. I'll donate 5 bucks to RM when I sell my millionth copy.

In college I got a blowie while watching College Game Day on a Saturday morning. I felt like I was on top of the world, man. It was awesome.

I don't understand this. Anytime I'm doing anything sexual, unless I'm driving, I'd want the sexual visual as much as possible and not watching dudes being competitive and/or talking about other dudes who are being competitive. Were there cheerleaders, at least?
