The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
Just checking - a team is valid if it has 1 mobile platform and 3 others, right?
Yes! As long as four different platforms are represented in your 8 selections you are golden. The handheld/portable/mobile selection is considered one of the four platforms.

The Nintendo 64 would have to be in the running as well, right?
And my power and moving issues are pretty much resolved now, some boxes and decorating not withstanding. I'll be ready to pick after Durden and tree make picks today.

It did suffer from fewer games though. The quality of the games it had was very high.

I personally think the PS1 was superior to the N64 for sheer volume of games, especially in a time where games themselves were very experimental and constantly evolving. But it's hard to deny the quality of the big N64 games of the day.

This is probably true. Easier to remember all of the A+ or A games on the 64 than the dozens and dozens of B+ and A-s on the PSOne.
