The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
This latest XBOX Series X backwards compatibility update includes XBOX Live exclusives. At this point, does that simply mean they are for sale again on whatever Microsoft calls XBOX Live now? I might grab Vandal Hearts 3.
I view backwards compatible updates to correspond to physical releases. This seems like a misleading way to say old games are available for sale again.

Feel like buying a new machine, but neither seems to be in stock. Had Playstation 1 and 2, and Xbox 360 and Xbox One X. Own a lot of games in the Xbox system, but started thinking about getting a Playstation 5. Weird they are sold out here.

Got my Series X secured through Wal Mart today, won't be here for nearly 3 weeks evidently but still pretty happy that I was able to snag one given the insane demand.

Congrats! You'll get it around Halo which sounds like perfect timing. I'm so excited for Halo!
Thanks--I was watching some Halo vids, I'm having trouble understanding the appeal but I'll def try it out as part of the Game Pass ($25 for 3 months right now at Target and Gamestop, FYI). I'm pretty pumped to play Forza 5 though (this is my first Xbox). Feel like I've betrayed my Sony longstanding relationship
We need more info on the Perfect Dark remake like now

Same. This is for my 14 year old. Is the halo campaign multiplayer?

I believe it will be available in co-op, but it was just delayed again.

Play the games you want to play. Who cares what machine they're on!

My son’s Series X arrived this morning. Walmart+ is doing another console drop at 11 tomorrow. That’s how I got this one.
Holy crap yours came fast. Mine isn't due in until 10 Dec and I think we both ordered on the same day. Congrats though!
Also I just realized the Xbox controllers take AA batteries (wtf, really??)...anyone recommend a good rechargeable solution? Was thinking about the Razer station/battery that seems to check out, never been a fan of third party solutions for this kind of accessory...

I use Eneloop rechargeable batteries in most of my do-dads.
