The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.

I picked up my Pulse Headphones from Best Buy on Saturday, haven't fired them up yet. My second controller and media remote are scheduled for delivery tomorrow (also bought through Best Buy). I ordered a charging station through Amazon, and of course, those fuckers aren't shipping accessories early like other retailers so I assume I'll have that by the 12th.
Tell us what you think of the form factor! Then rank every controller ever.
Feels good. My only surprise is that it's a different charging cable than the PS4, not included. I only have 1 of those cables. The manual says a cable is included with the system.
A good heft? How do the buttons feel?
Yes, a good heft. It works with the PS3. Maybe I'll give it a spin.

I'm expecting we'll see launch new details/news later this week (and hopefully soon enough, reviews) as the election day madness passes, although it's a safe bet that election madness will ensue for the rest of the month.

I contacted Antonline this morning, with whom I pre-ordered my bundle, asking if they had any details when PS5s would be shipped out and they replied:
Quote:
The release date is Nov. 12. Sony is tightly controlling ship date information. We will not know until the day they release for shipping. Then we start shipping and send tracking to each customer by email. Anything else you see is just a guess based on past activity.
Then I contacted Playstation support, and they had nothing to offer. It's all a mystery. I don't understand why they can't be more transparent about this.

XSX has arrived at some consumers already. The "upgrade" file for Gears 5 is 65gb. FFS. That's too big. I hope the "upgrade" file is on all new games discs. My internet isn't the best and seems to run slowest for the XB1.

Now that i think about it, the Forza 10 gb launch day update kinda ruined XB1 launch day for me. If all games that are cross generational require a giant download, I'll lean towards PS5. Kinda bummed. Kinda pissed.
