The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
Wild that it was officially announced in the middle of the night. Have to feel for the marketing team who has surely been working on the big reveal for months. I guess this illustrates how risky it is to wait this long to reveal the prices of next gen hardware. Kind of amazing that this is the first leak.
Essentially, is the Series S a smaller, cheaper Xbox One X?

It's not official yet.
No, it's an all digital next gen console. I assume it's an upgrade over the X1X.

S is not going to be as powerful but targeting 120 fps. The price point will be very attractive for casual gamers and parents. I assume its also Microsoft’s attempt to get some PS5 players into their ecosystem with a cheaper option.

$300 gets closer to impulse buy for me. They just need some exclusives that I am interested in playing. The trailers for their first showcase didn't show enough gameplay to get an idea of what it is coming from them this generation.

My final guess is $500 for the standard console with a free 6 months of PS Plus and PS Now. $400 for the discless version with no passes.
This was my prediction as well, at least for the standard version (which is the only version I care about). $500 is pretty much a given IMO. They just need to fucking announce it already....we're like two months out for fuck's sake!!
