Outing myself as an idiot here but what’s the youngest age a kid could play this game? Thinking of shrines mostly not scary monsters or anything
Like actually do things or just run around and hack at stuff?
Well kid of any age can run around and do all that. I never even thought about that they could have so much fun even doing that. Levels to botw I never considered right there
But the puzzles and side quests n koroks all that. Would have to be 11 or upwards right? They’re all on YouTube now the kids so they’d know there’s a ton of stuff in there they can do

We haven't gotten a korok update from chud in a while.
The last one you have to take all your clothes and weapons off and run around the entire place all over again or you won’t find it. Chuds just being shy.

Mine are 6. One does damn well, the other just doesn’t get it. Really what holds the first one back is not being able to read very much. If he could read, different story. He understands how to defeat which enemies, has solved quite a few shrines, understands the map. Pretty fun to watch him actually. They both love to hack at stuff and the second one especially loves to cook meals. He does get how to create meals with a ton of recovery hearts.

That’s awesome. Read something once about how video games can be brilliant helping kids development and problem solving skills. This sounds like that. Great stuff.

This is exciting.
Initially not happy about flying from one place to the next like Skyward Sword, but I’m sure I will love it just the same.
Obviously tears as in crying by the way.
I get the impression the sky areas are in addition the ground/map from BotW.
I hope the ground / map is not the same. They had 6 years plus help from Monolith.
We need more information.
”In addition to the vast lands of Hyrule, the latest entry in the storied Legend of Zelda series will take you up into the skies! Look forward to Link’s massive adventure starting again when The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, drops for Nintendo Switch on May 12, 2023.”
